1. Daily Expense Form: |
1. Expenses is a term used to identify purchases made by an approved person for and on behalf of the company or project. |
2. Expenses may include: |
(1). Procured Supplies such as sand and nails (and labour) needed to undertake a named project. |
(2). Contract Hire such as tools and equipment needed to undertake a named project. |
(3). Travel expenses such as mileage allowance or train fare to visit a named business associate. |
(4). Subsistence expenses such as food and drinks when on-the-road. |
3. Unique expense forms are provided for: |
(1). People to claim expenses that are appended to their time sheet invoice. |
(2). Company as a legal obligation to keep good records. |
(3). Project or Site to manage profitability. |
7. Daily Expense Form Register: |
1. The project plan and project RAMS define the list of assets used by a project. |
2. The project plan includes that asset register of equipment including cost schedule. |
3. The project plan is dynamic with planned and acctual delivery, off-hire and collected dates. |
4. The project plan show the daily cost to the contractor and the daily cost to the project that may be cost plus a percentage. |
5. Contract hire management is mandated for all assets as equipment used on a project. Equipment includes plant and tools. |
6. A project does not own any equipment and so all assets needed on a project must be hired. |
7. Equipment must be inspected daily by each operative as part of their Daily Prestart Checklist. |
8. Equipment must be inspected weekly by the Site Manager and an inspection report recorded. |
