1. Home Care Service: | 1. Its time to adapt homes to care for their residents - social care, health care and mental care. | 2. The vast majority of homes must be radically redesigned in the next decade - the largest building programm the UK has ever seen. | 3. The primary driver is the environment - (1) the high cost of energy, (2) global warming and (3) excessive pollution. | 4. The one service business that will grow and grow over next 2 decades is home care services - the service of making homes places that people wish to be in. Home Care Service does not sell any products or goods, but it will adapt homes to make them more livable - a service with a month-by-month residual income for life. |
2. Geothermal: | 1. Let us tell you in very simply terms that you need to invest in geothermal energy. | 2. Geothermal is a way to earn a living and a way to create the energy needed to power homes. | 3. The person who took the trouble to install underfloor heating/cooling pipes has no idea of how good they will prove to be in the next few decades. | 4. Drill a deep pile into the garden and sink as much plastic pipe as can be installed. | 5. Fit a heat exchanger and drive the internal and external pipes to cool the home during the summer and heat the home during the winter. Heat exchangers can be either a fridge or a heater depending on which way it is driven. | 6. Solar panels with massive batteries (car) are also needed to prime the pump. |
3. Pollution: | 1. Pollution is killing 100 people in London every day - other cities are also killing its citizens. | 2. Governments promoted the diesel car, taxi, bus and train, but the invisible nitric oxide polution caused by diesel is killing hundreds of young and old folk every day. Pollution causes the human respiritory system to weaken so people are suseptable to all kinds of diseases that they would otherwise be able to survive. | 3. Every home must be upgraded to become a sealed unit with air filters - just like every car. | 4. Every home must be upgraded to with air conditioning - just like every car. | 5. A home with windows that open is plain stupid - external air is polluted and will eventually kill you. |
4. Global Warming: | 1. More people die in the UK due to warm weather than cold weather - hot days and nights in front of a fan where much of the air is polutted is bound to kill off the sick and weak. | 2. It is not logical that every car has air conditioning but most home do not have the capability of keeping its residents at a reasonable temperature. | 3. For simplicity, VAT can be ignored and all transactions recorded as gross amounts that include VAT when applicable. |
5. Energy Cost: | 1. Today, gas is a third the price of electricity and so it is very economical to use for heating. | 2. In the next few years, the cost of gas will double and double again - 3 pence, to 6 pence to 12 pence per KWH unit. | 3. The pollution caused by gas will become socally unacceptable - like smoking in public. | 4. Many millions of homes in the UK will be hunting to find a cheaper solution - the log burner is a polluting fire that generates CO2 that kills people. | 5. People will be driven by economics to use electricity when geothermal heat is below their feet and free of charge to those that dig a well. |
6. Water: | 1. Wars in the Middle East over waer rights will remind people that every drop of rain is a valuable recource that must never be left to run down a drain. | 2. Drains and water systems must be totally redesigned to recycle stored and filtered water - massive underground water tanks must be installed. | 3. The whole of the bathroom system must be redesigned to stop the loss if valuable water - recycle everything. | 4. Redesign the roof line to capture all rain water. | 5. Redesign the garden to store water in massive underground tanks. | 6. Redesign drains to filter, scrub and recycle the majority of water. | 6. Redesign the garden to handle human solid waste after it has been treated to kill bacteria. |
7. Toilet: | 1. The toilet has been redesigned to become a health care laboratory that samples each persons liquide and solid waste to check for diseases. | 2. Rich people will be very happy to spend a vast amount of money on a toilet that checkes their health and can diagnose early forms of cancer at a time when a cure is practical. | 3. The toilet laboratory is online to the doctor to give them detailed trends of alcohol levels, drug usage and food quality - things that people never tell the truth about. | 4. High blood pressure, high temperature, high heart rates, weight and many more things are detected by your toilet and your medical record is updated in real-time. | 5. Yes your toilet will recognise you without the need to sign-in. You can ask you toilet all kinds of medical questions and get personal results based on you medical history. |
8. Cooking: | 1. Cooking must be by safe and secure electricity powered sound waves. | 2. In the good old days, some people cooked using gas thet created CO2 and water vapour in the home - home pollution that kills. | 3. Water vapour must be stopped at all costs - water vapour is needed for bacteria, bud bugs and fungi to thrive - fungo gives of mino-spores that are toxic. | 4. People cooking with gas do not deserve to survive because they purposefully chose to pollute the air inside their homes - some people cannot be helped. | 5. Every gas cooker needs an extraction fan - every extraction fan depends on drafts from windows and doors to replace the extracted air - the drafted from outside are of diesel polluted air - some people cannot be helped. | 6. Homes must be properly insulated as sealed units with filtered air systems - gas cooking cannot be permitted to create CO2 and water vapour inside such a controlled environment. | 7. Geothermal heat (that is free) may become adequate to provide some kinds of cooking devices. | 8. Fortunatly the excessive cost of gas will drive people to use electricity - free solar powered battery stored electricity. | 9. If gas cooking is plain stupid, can you imagine how stupid people must be to have a log burning stove that by law must have a carbon monoxide gas detected in the same room because it will kill. Every cubic meter of hot gas that goes up the flue must be replaced with a cubic meter of cold drafts of polluted air from outside doors and windows - some people cannot be helped. |
9. Upstairs: | 1. To reduce costs, many homes are two or more levels with all the heat going up the stais to heat the upper rooms - the high the room the higher the heat. | 2. Global warming will lead to periods where existing in upstairs hot rooms will become unbrearably hot - rooms will become unusable, expecially where insulation is inadequate. | 3. The advent of the basement may see a massive boost as people seak out rooms that are at an acceptabe temperature. | 4. Mobility beconmes an issue to most people at some time in their life - stairs can become a barrier where the home is not redesigned to include an elevator. A robot can use an elevator but may not be so clever on a stair lift when carring a tray of food and drinks. | 5. Home designed for the mobile person may not be suitable for people at all times in their life - improved designs are mandated to make homes more adaptable and flexible to care for its occupants. |
10. Social Care: | 1. Homes must include the ability to provide social care where simple roboticas provide a high degree of automation to help a person in a social way. | 2. Home should be like a slave who can be ordered to bring a cup of tea, get my slippers, do some ironing, wash the pans, close the blinds, put the lights on and read out any emails that have arrived. | 3. Shopping can be automated with a home delivery service, but goods need to be moved from place to place by a nice robot. | 4. Washing has been automated, but a robot is needed to fill the tub, set the program, remove the cloths, dry the cloths, iron what needs ironing and put the cloths in their correct place in the wardrobe. | 5. Dressing and washing are tasks that some people may want some help with - robots that can easilly move from room to room are needed to make life acceptable. | 6. It will not happen to me. We hope you are right, but plan for the worst and hope for the best. |
