Telecom:
Telecom business requirement was specified by Gemma in a public email on 1 Dec.   The scope of the data requested was:-
Landline / mobile number.
Landline / mobile number site address.
Landline / mobile number supplier.
Landline / mobile number contract state and end date.
Landline rental charge for landline only.
Landline local / national / international / mobile / special satelite charge for landline only.
Mobile data / line rental / call charges for mobile only.
It would be good to choose if the number is a mobile or landline.

Selection:
The formal list of telecom service providers is needed - only TalkTalk exists at the current time.
Contract rates are provided but contract units are undefined and hidden - it may be assumed that rental rate is pounds per month.   Telecom rates tend to have units as pence per minute or pence per call or both.

Extra:
* For financial planning and as a Key Performance Factor (KPI), it is recommended that at least three extra fields are needed as:-
ECO71 Contract Estimated Annual Commission.
ECO66 Contract Estimated Annual Spend.
ECO70 Contract Estimated Annual Saving (one year on the next).
* For brokerage renewal purposes, it is recommended that at least the following fields are added:-
ECO30 Contract Termination Days.
ECO32 Contract Letter of Termination Due Date.
ECO31 Contract Letter of Termination Step.
ECO23 Contract Renewal Step.
* For billing purposes, it is recommended that at least the following fields are added:-
ECO74 Contract Last billed Date.
ECO67 Contract Billing Frequency.
ECO35 Contract Billing VAT rules.

Telecom Service:
The telecom service that has been provided for at least the last five years, appears to cover most of the requirements documented.   As with all Bespoke Application Service facilities, the data structure is implemented at two levels as (1) service as the physical telephone and (2) contract as one or many contracts that may apply from time-to-time.   Because this overall design is identical to energy services and contracts, renewals and financial data are also identical in structure.

Cash Flow, Spend, Savings and Commission Forecast:
The estimated annual spend and commission are divided by the annual billing frequency to create a set of billing and commission estimated for the life of the contract.   For any selected month, the company revenue can be estimated and the staff commission can be estimated.   The estimated annual spend is the sum of all the rates multiplied by all the units, including standing or fixed charges.   The estimated annual commission is the sum of the units multiplied by the commission rate.   The commission for any month is assigned to staff based on the percentage held at the client level.   The estimated annual saving is the previous estimated annual spend minus the current estimated annual spend.
