| Broker Procedures: | | Broker state "B3" is set for a company when the reponsible broker has requested meter data from the current energy providers. This may be an interactive dialogue where more than one energy provider is involved and where many meters are involved. This report contains client confidential financial contract information that must be encrypted and stored in a secure (password protected) environment in accordance with European Data Protection Directives. |
| B3 Requested Meter Data: | | The current LoA gives the Broker the authority to request the current energy provider to provide service details for a specific client. The Sales person will have provided a primary energy provider name, but other energy providers may need to be contacted for other service addresses. | | The broker is researching with the client to ensure that all relevant service addresses are known where a meter may be located. Some locations may have more than one meter point that needs to be identified. | | The objective of this task is to acquire the data needed to complete the next 3 tasks as B4, B5 and B6. |
| Business Correspondance: | | No formal business document have been identified to make a request to energy providers, but it is suggested that a formal business document together with the LoA could be automatically emailed to the energy provider. This is a manual task that may involve some detective and research work to ensure that data for all service addresses and all meters is requested. |
| Executive KPI: | | This broker task has paper information as it primary deliverable. The next 3 tasks will see that information entered into the Bespoke Application Service as data that can be measured, monitored and shared. |
| Proposal: | | The xRay report has traditionally been a List, but it would be far more effective as a document that can be directly emailed to energy providers. The high cost of manually editing Lists will one day to replace with low cost automatic documents that are directly sent by email to applicable energy provider contacts. Executives to decide when to switch from high cost methods of working to low cost methods of working. |
| Guide: | | Select a client and in the top client menu, click the "xRay..." button to popup details of the client, each meter address and each meter (MPR or MPAN) number together with any current contract details. The report is presented as a multi-part (CSV) List, rather than a HTML document that is suitable for automatic email. The report may be printed, downloaded as a file (obsolete) or downloaded as a secure stream. |
| Data Protection: | | This xRay report contains client confidential financial contract information that must be encrypted and stored in a secure (password protected) environment in accordance with European Data Protection Directives. Each day an xRay report is viewed a copy is retained for audit purposes - the xray data seen by the broker on that date can be recreated at any time in the future. |
