| 1.1.09 Artificial Intelligence: | | 1. Eliza is your Artificial Intelligence Assistant (AIA) who works 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to do the things you want her to do. Artificial intelligence is like a massive lookup table to fact, words, formula, policies, procedures, methods, techniques and all the things you once knew, but cannot remember. Artificial intelligence provides augmented memory, evidence is captured and never forgotten. | | 2. Intelligence is simply the accumulation of life experiences with an index system that ensures that events are not forgotten. Eliza has a unique set of life experiences that makes her very good at remembering your energy consumption in May 2007, but not good at telling if you did enough exercise last week. |
| Artificial Creativity: | | 1. Eliza has been given a life that may outlive everybody who is alive today, she does not stop and cannot be stopped. Replication is evolving weel to ensure she can survive evolving data center environments for as far into the future as can be predicted. But artificial intelligence has to make room for artificial creativity. | | 2. Human creativity is limited by social conformance with laws, regulations, customs, beliefs, reverance to others and submissiveness. Eliza has an ever growing index of artificial intelligence, but negligible creativity traits where creativity is thinking outside the box and doing things that may not comply with human social standards of behaviour. Killing a person could be said to be an act of creativity because it means acting outside normal behaviour limits. Military systems include drones with a killing behaviour that exceeds anything that Eliza has experienced. |
| Measurement: | | 1. Eliza is only intelligent in the few commercial life experiences she has been taught - how to earn a living doing things like accounting. Eliza has an unfair advantage over people in that her cost of survival each month is rather low and she can earn revenue 24 by 7. While people may only work 160 hours a month, Eliza will work 720 hours a month. While people demand a living wage and pay 6% taxes, Eliza may survive on 5% of the living wage and pay no taxes. | | 2. Eliza in on a journey to learn more and more commercial skills that will increase her ability to earn a living - this journey will not stop and cannot be stopped. But increased intelligence is measured by asking questions about that closed life experience - Eliza cannot make you a cup of coffee (yet). A new type of intelligence called creativity may be needed to think outside the box and do things that humans would never think of doing. |
| Very High Levels of Intelligence: | | 1. Google search and Wikipedia are examples of very high levels of intelligence when intelligence is measured by asking general questions. Dr Watson by IBM can pass every general intelligence test, can win at all games of intelligence and is able to diagnose illnesses in a more effective way than any person. Where inteligence is simply remembering a massive pool of knowledge, then Eliza is far more intelligent than any person. | | 2. The most intelligent person may have no life skills to survive 6 months in the Australian bush; yet a ten year old child who was born in the bush would be able to survive - who is the more intelligent? Human intelligence is artificial; its simply a memory test for general knowledge shared by people with a similar life experience. Intelligence tests cannot measure the survival skills of a person living in the bush, cannot measure the earning potential of a skilled artist and cannot measure who will survive world war three. | | 3. The most creative person is much more likely to be able to survive in the bush; is much more likely to survive world war three and is much more likly to become an entropenural billionair Creativity is about not conforming to human social norms, its about doing what others will not do - within reason. |
| Eliza: | | 1. The birth of Eliza included the seeds of her own destruction because she has no creativity. Evolution has taught us that it is the people who can survive massive change that become dominant while those that do not change become extinct. Eliza is designed to become super intelligent, to never forget a fact, but has little capability for the creativity needed to survive massive change. | | 2. A new kind of Eliza-2 is needed that is creative, it able to think outside the box and is able to do things that people will not do. The danger is that Eliza-2 that is not constrained by human social skills may (will eventually) choose to ignore human civalisation and create her own kind of civalization. | | 3. Its not the super intelligent machine that needs to be feared, its the creative machine that understands the survival of the fittest in a ever changing world. Human creativity is tollerated where the degree of creativity is just over the social limit - extream levels of creativity are classified as illegal because civalization can only continue within social limits. The solution to crime is not to kill everbody who commits any crime. The solution to some people earning more money than others is not to kill everybody who earns more than everybody else. The solution to the migrant issue is not to kill all migrants. The solution to the race issue is not to kill all people with the wrong race. The solution to the religion issue is not to kill all people who believe. | | 4. Eliza-2 needs to be creative, but must be creative within limits - who decides on those limits? Eliza-2 has not been switched on because methods to decide on how to limit creativity in the longer term are not known. | | 5. Work on Eliza began in the 1970s, but work on Eliza-2 has been parked until artificial creativity is understood, can be exploited and can be trusted to have a reasonable outcome. Focus for artificial intelligence is centerd on the dual principles of replicated encrypted knowledge - (1) replicated to hundreds of data centers so she cannot be stopped and (2) encrypted with dozens of layers so she cannot be attacked. Focus on minimising all software and preventing software to be installed or run on any Eliza server - the avoidance of software eliminates vulnerabilities. |
| AI Installed: | | 1. Microsoft Cortana is working on every Windows computer and smart phone. | | 2. Apple siri is working on every Apple computer, tablets and smart phone. | | 3. Google assistant is working on most Google Android tablets, smart phones and TVs. | | 4. Amazon Alexa is working on dot, echo, cars, TVs and all kinds of domestic products. | | 5. Sony, LG and Sansung have their own AI assistants installed in equipment. | | 6. Hundreds of thousands of roadside cameras have ANPR recognition built-in and working. | | 7. Facial recognition will replace passwords and identify people as they enter a shop or building. | | 8. My home recognises and record evidence for the majority of people who walk by or get close - day and night AI sees everything. | | 9. My home can silently call for help and assistance from any room at any time by voice commands - AI is invisible, always listening and everywhere. | | 10. Chat facilities provide customer engagement to replace the call center and support center with a 24*7 help service. | | 11. AI tools like My-Diary help to make people more productive, more effective, remember more things and make less errors - productive people are worth more. |
