ITIL : 3.7.10. Education Policy:

3.7.10. Education Policy:
Sales and Marketing functions have morphed into providing educational information by way of ebooks and videos.   The target audiance for sales and marketing campaigns has evolved from just senior executives to most people in a company.   While only an executive can say "Yes", most people in a company have the ability to say "No" to a new idea that they cannot understand because they have not been given enough information.
Each and every day, sales and marketing activities must take place by ebooks and videos.   It is not a matter of waiting to be asked, its a matter of continually feeding educational information to those that want it when they want it.

Objectives:
Each student has a unique objective of education, but each school has only one objective for all students, no matter what their ability may be.   Online education enables a vast array of subjects to be provided to any level of distinction that is required by a student.   No two students will ever need to follow the same syllabus, each person will discover that they like and pursure these subjects to the best of their ability.
To be the next Zuckerberg, a student may need the following education:
. Ability to author a simple web site.
. Ability to create their own promotional video.
. Ability to read a balance sheet.
. Understanding of copyright, trademarks, patents and branding.
. Ability to prepare their VAT return and online annual accounts.
. Ability to store and manipulate images and photographs.
. Email, messaging, chat and unified communications.
. History of the top 100 richest self-made people in the world - see below.
. Geographic centers of culture, humanity and language.
. Language: English, Spanish, Mandrin, Arabic.
. Physics, chemistry, heat, light, electicity, universe - basic level.
. Ability to understand and implement security and privacy of confidential information.
It is interesting that Richard Branson, Alan Sugar, Karren Brady, Nick Hewer, Peirs Morgan, Theo Paphitis, Hilary Devey, James Caan, Duncan Bannatyne, Peter Jones, Bill Gates and others follow a similar non-academic background.

Academia:
Schools, colleges and learning institutions are about to be hit with an Internet revolution of on-line tuition by carasmatic lecturers that have audiences of millions.   Classroom education is too expensive (not more than 30 students) and ineffective (students have different abilities).
Online education is provided at the pace set by the student - the more they want the more they can be given.   Online tuition can be recorded once and then shared with millions of people in all parts of the world for many years to come.   Basic subjects have not altered, so each student can choose the teacher they prefer to work with, with the certainlty that pythagoras theorem has not changed for 3000 years.

Video:
To be part of the online education revolution, first mover advantage is everything.   Every classroom lecture must be video recorded as practice, as the way things are going to be and to refine the most effective production methods.   Every application must have a series of videos showing exactly what is done and why it is done.
Videos can have a ebook that acts as a user guide or handout notes, but this is only suppliemental to online education.   Every video is a sales and marketing promotion to people who will influence future revenues.

How does it work:
This series of guides exists by accident, rather than by design.   What subjects and topics need to have a white paper and where should videos be provided?.
Security conformance does not happen by accident, it has taken many years of detailed research and development to provide the current authentication capability that is largely undocumented.   Guides need to spread the key policies that have been delivered without needing to spell out detailed trade secrets.   While basis HTML skills are critical to the process, clever programming skills with bugs are minimised.
TIES is a set of proven policies - every policy must be formally documented as a guide that can be reviewed, revised and contunually improved.   Without ebooks and videos about each policy, continual improvements will not be practical.

Patents:
* Patents are in the public domain and can only be enforced by a corporation with the funds to sue other corporations.
* Trade secrets are private and are enforced by security.
* Agreements and contracts exist for lawyers to earn income by contesting intent and promoting a dispute.
* Payment is the only agreement or contract needed.

Action:
1. Define a subject as a policy, objective or mission.
2. Document the subject as a guide.
3. Technology tranfer the subject by video.
4. Business Model: free for many years then a modest subscription.

Evolution:
Universities have priced themselves out of the market - students will have a choice of expensive classroom lectures at fixed times or much cheaper online education at their own convenience.   The traumer of leaving home and getting into serious debt for a red-brick University education can be compared with having a part time job and assigning 4 to 5 hours each day to online learning with an examination at the end of each year.
Schools have priced themselves out of the market - students must be given a choice of expensive classroom teachers or online education without the traumar of long commuting to the "wrong" school.   Vast rural areas have enjoyed online education for many years and proven that it works using radio and slow connections.   High speed Internet brings a totally new era of education where school friends can meet up and socialize in a virtual world that may be better moderated than the real world.

Eliza:
Eliza technology is a focus on the provision of business-to-business application services.   The most rapid and least cost method of working has been refined over many years without leaping from one innovative idea to the next, but by relentless continual improvement.
Eliza begins and ends with the notion that logic can be expressed as simple records that can be managed using online forms.   This means that all forms and all reports can be simply expressed in tabular form and stored in a database for each maintence.   While basis HTML skills are critical to the process, clever programming skills with bugs are minimised.
Eliza is a set of proven policies - every policy must be formally documented as a guides that can be reviewed, revised and contunually improved.   Without ebooks and videos about each policy, continual improvements will not be practical.

Education:
1. An education policy change is required to conform with all UK laws - by law, people must be educated by their company to have the skills to direct their company.   Every person is a director of a company and every drector of a company is an employee who must be educated to do their role as a director.
2. Education is not a one-off exercise, but a journey of continual improvement with periodic self-assessment and planning for the next set of skill improvements.   Contemporary evidence must be gathered as educated is recieved, provided and verified - education without evidence did not happen.
3. As a Director of a Company and Owner of a Bespoke Application Service, it it critical to have the "knowledge and understanding" to carry out that role.   Good governance demands knowledge of all laws and regulations that are imposed on a Director of a Company or a person acting as a director.   Each person has an obligation to gather the evidence that they have the applicable "knowledge and understanding" to be a fit and proper person to do their role.
4. Continual education is a legal obligation because the defence of "I did not know" can only increase any unjust enrichment fine.   A lack of knowledge of a persons legal obligations is evidence that the person is not a fit and proper person to be a Director.
5. Artificial intelligence has caused this significant change to the education policy because while the majority fail, a few chosen educated people will prosper in the future.   Those people who are educated to exploit an artificial intelligent assistant will become more productive and will prosper.   Those people who are not educated to use an artificial intelligent assistant may not prosper.

Journalism:
1. As an example; most published news stories are authored by an artificial intelligent assistant known as Quill.   A small team of very experienced human journalists have taught Quill to be able to author new stories that are published.   News stories are authored in a fraction of a second to include all the applicable facts and not to create errors of omission.   Quill has been trained to write better and better news stories using human feedback critique, to the point where the majority of new stories are published as authored.
2. The effect is that a few highly educated journalists with an artificial intelligent assistant have become very productive and very rich.   It is possible that a large number of journalists who do not have an artificial intelligent assistant to help them become more productive are looking for another job.   All the proof readers who checked the work of journalists has also been eliminated because Quill does not need spelling, grammer or cultural opinions to be checked.

Bookkeeping:
1. As an example; a team of qualified accountants have been teaching an artificial intelligent assistant known as Cuffs to author company annual returns.   Cuffs has been taught all the legal rules, regulations and good practice that accountants are taught over 4 or 5 years.   Any company account can be authored in a fraction of a second with the expectation that every exception is correctly noted and handled - human errors are eliminated.
2. A few highly educated accountants with an artificial intelligent assistant like Cuffs have become very productive and able to rapidly author a large number of company accounts to a higher quality than was possible before.   While the accountants with the artificial intelligent assistant are earning a lot more, those accountants without an artificial intelligent assistant will experience a continual reduction of work opportunities and revenue.

Insurance:
1. As an example; a team of qualified motor, marine and aviation insurance brokers have been teaching an artificial intelligent assistant to quantify risk and price a policy.   Any policy can be priced and authored in a fraction of a second with the expectation that every risk is correctly noted and handled - human errors are eliminated.
2. A few highly educated brokers with an artificial intelligent assistant have become very productive and able to rapidly author a large number of policies to a higher quality than was possible before.   While the brokers with an artificial intelligent assistant are earning a lot more, those brokers without an artificial intelligent assistant will experience a continual reduction of work opportunities and revenue.

Freight:
1. As an example; a team of qualified freight export-import brokers have been teaching an artificial intelligent assistant to understand all routes and price a complext freight movement in real-time.   Any quotation can be priced and authored in a fraction of a second with the expectation that every embargo is correctly noted and handled - human errors due to multiple currencies are eliminated.
2. A few highly educated brokers with an artificial intelligent assistant have become very productive and able to rapidly author a large number of quotations to a higher quality than was possible before.   While the brokers with an artificial intelligent assistant are earning a lot more, those brokers without an artificial intelligent assistant will experience a continual reduction of freight movement requests and revenue.

Underway:
1. A building and construction artificial intelligent assistant is being taught to handle all aspects of building hotels and shops.   A broking service is provided to match self-employed construction trades people with construction and fitting out project plans.   This includes induction safety training at each site, risk assessments and and evidence chain of who did what and when.
2. A health and social care artificial intelligent assistant is being taught to handle all aspects of brokering sessions for a customer who has a need with a care worker who can provide that need.   Location risk assessments include real-time monitoring of each care session to protect all parties.
