21.06 Expired Information Erasure Service (EIES)
1. GDPR artical 5(1e) makes it a legal obligation to erase information after it no longer has any purpose - all information must have a published expiry date.
2. Eliza periodically scans all business data and where a field value has exceeded its expiry date then it is automatically destroyed.
3. Subjective human decisions are not involved in what to erase and what to keep - everything is driven by the comprehensive data dictionary that specified the life cycle of each and every field value.
4. Total automation means that the company will always be fully compliant with the law and is never subject to the vagaries of human decision making and forgetfulness.
5. Expiry durations are published from the data dictionary and that same data is used to drive Eliza to erase the data - foolproof.
