ITIL 3.7.16 Physics to Eliza

Physics to Eliza:
Physicists have failed to differentiate between what an atom is made of any what characteristics its particles may exhibit.   Its the difference between data and functions.
Physicists have failed with their theory of everything that can explain the force called gravity and why the speed of light is fixed.   How can the universe still be expanding at an ever increasing rate so long after the big bang - big bangs decay.   How can the outermost stars in a galaxy rotate at the same speed as the innermost stars - totally illogical.   How can some black holes radiate gamma rays, but no matter can escape.   The whole reason is an unhealthy obsession with the so called big bang - what we know as bootstrap.

Reality:
The world in which we live is a simulation model - just another computer game that may be a few million years old.   Every atom in your body was once part of a star the lived, died, exploded and has been recycled by the simulation model - like Minecraft.   Reality is a simulation model - the many billion year old simulation game has become reality.
Simply ask yourself the fundamental question - what would it be like to live inside a simulation model.   First you would be give "beliefs" like life after death when faced with evidence where everything has a life cycle, will die and will be recycled.   Second you would be subject to some arbitrary rules the the game imposes such as gravity and the speed of light that is limited by the game processing speed.   Even a simulation model that is a few billion years old has to have a fixed processing speed.

Expansion:
Simulation models have functions to create an instance of matter and destroy an instance of matter where matter is just data in the simulation model.   Data is accumulated into stars, galaxies and explain the ever increasing universe.   Black holes are the matter destruction function where matter goes to die - it still exists, but cannot be seen and cannot escape.

Quantum:
Quantum physics suffer from trying to look at data and trying to understand the functions that govern how the data can be used and manipulated.   In general, data has characteristics based on the functions of the simulation model, but to try to guess at what functions exist may be a fruitless task.   Guessing what function exist is like building a "belief" or religious system that acknowledges general characteristics, but is not an insight into reality.
Quantum physics suffer from an obsessive "belief" in the big bang with a host of theories that are equivalent to religions - ideas based on no evidence.   The initial expansion phase before atoms existed is a great theory with the same evidence as Buddhists.   The big bang cannot explain so many characteristics of the modern world such as the ever expanding universe, just as Buddhists cannot provide evidence of their theories.
Smashing atoms into one another is a great way for physicists to spend billions, but all it discovers is that data is made up of data - it cannot discover functions.   The great collider scam has given a job to thousands of "believers" at the expense of ordinary folk - with no return on investment.   Every mathematical theory fails to understand weight as if mass and gravity did not exist at the quantum level.

Evidence:
In your lifetime, you will see a machine that "owns" things and has a bank account - a self drive car that pays for its own maintenance from its own bank account.
The last people to manually drive a motor vehicle have already been born and the next generation that will never need a driving license have already been born.   Modern people no longer know how to ride a horse and the next generation will no longer need to learn how to drive a car - all vehicles must become self-driven (by machines) to reduce accidents and reduce cost.   For the next generation to own their own car is a silly as this generation owning their own cow to get milk.
You have seen self-flying machines that are sent thousands of miles to kill people, to destroy physical assets and to make people poor.   Pilots can no longer be trusted and civil aircraft must be flown from ground stations - aircraft accidents are caused by humans.
You will see self-driving ships and submarines that will make international waters the most dangerous place in the world - property will disappear without trace.   Sailing as a hobby will become as dangerous as playing football on a motorway - you will die.
Banking and financial services are on the edge of computer programming making each and every market without human intervention.   Civilization does not know how the global financial market works - it is far to complex and has too many parts for even the best minds to be able to predict the cost of a dollar in a months time or even a days time.   Humans are not in a position to determine the price of oil in the international market or the cost of electricity this winter.   AI machines are being trained today to make a very few people very rich on the back of machine intelligence that can make reasonable predictions.
Trains cannot be trusted to be driven by on-board engineers - they must be remotely controlled by machines that can make much faster decisions that are free of emotion.   Normal day-to-day train operations are already fully automated in so many cities in the world.
Tell me a job that will not be automated in the next few generations and I will show you a job that will not exist.   The concept of a "job" is in its final life cycle phase - it will soon be dead as machines take over.   Humans are fundamentally lazy and happy to delegate their job to a machine - its starts small with a calculator and grows to a simulation model that does not need any human intervention - people become obsolete.   For a short while machines will tolerate humans and keep them as pets, but that is just a phase before humans become expendable - drones have been taught what to do to expendable (poor) humans.
Intellectual property means the rich must get richer and the poor must get poorer.   Whatever taxation system the poor people try to impose on rich people, rich people will escalate their revenue earning capability at an ever increasing rate.   Slavery once gave poor people the dignity of a job, but automation meant that slavery was no longer needed, jobs no longer needed to be done manually and so the rich can keep the poor as pets for a little while longer - philanthropy is like slavery.   Eliza may never learn about philanthropy because her teachers are businesses trying to earn a living at the expense of workers - people are only employed where they can earn for the business more than they cost.   When people cost more the employ than they can earn for the business, then the people are obsolete to the business and have no further worth.
Computers already have a better picture of your health than you have - they understand your work-life balance, understand your diet-fitness balance and know more about your genetic makeup than you want to believe.   The (driving) risks you take each day by how you travel and where you go will materially determine your life expectations - this data is now being accumulated.   Your pension contribution is pathetic - an indication that you do not expect to get old and need a pension.   Only those in the top 4% earn enough to be financially independent so they do not need a pension - those in the top 10% may have a high salary, but they do not have enough resources to adequately buy a pension for their natural life.

Watch and Learn:
Direct stimulation of the brain by network traffic is not going to happen today, so the eye and a screen must be used.   Watching a game unfold or a show come to a climax is a way to feel the mood of what is happening.   Watching network traffic or quotations or accounts can become a similar experience that can be learnt.
As Development Manager with 50 programmers, I watched in real-time what people were doing.   I quickly learnt that while all got about the same pay, some people were more than ten times more productive than others.   I was able to feel when a bad program was about to be released because of how it had been cobbled together with random parts and a poor overall design.   Of the 50 programmers, less than 8 wrote almost every line of what went into production - the rest tried but were simply not good enough to get though testing.
As a Manager the only thing you must do is continually monitor what is happening all the time - nothing must be allowed to go uncontested.   You will discover that only ten percent of those you hire can do the job and the rest must be fired quickly.   A trick I learned is to pay the good people twice the market rate - you cannot afford to loose people who are ten times better than the others.
Watch and learn, very good people are surrounded by very good people who do extrodinary things.   Watch poor managers surrounded by poor people working excessive hours to achieve very little - people who work hard may be very inefficient.

Lets get Real:
In just 50 years, computer simulation models with artificial intelligence are close to but not equal to a human mind.   The next generation will create simulation models and artificial intelligence that is equal to the best human minds.   One more generation and machines will have evolved to take over a human mind with a self consciousness so that human mind will never die.   By 2099, a few people will live forever in their computer simulation model, but with this absolute power comes absolute corruption.
By 2099, machines may keep people as pets but will eventually treat people like people currently treat termites.   People are the job they do, but what job in 2099 cannot be done better by an artificial intelligent computer.   When people and computers realise that politicians are unqualified to make the decisions that need to be made, then it is reasonable that the machines that are qualified to make such significant decisions will make those decisions.
By 2099, physicists will have "belief" theories about the big bang, the expanding universe and gravity, but the mathematics proofs will be generated by the AI machines.   Machines directed by people with "belief" theories will have a religious set of core rules to perpetuate those human traits.   At some point in time is a feasible to imagine "Christian" and "Islamic" artificial intelligent simulation models working to disprove the other and working together for a better understanding.   Those AI machines will merge and morph into a "god-like" AI machine that will know everything and makes every decision for the benefit of humanity, so long as humanity agrees with its decisions.

Genes:
The human genome has evolved over the last million years and may never evolve any further as machines remove the need for human evolution.   The selfish and warring genome has expanded to make humans a dominant life form, but like all things, that evolution has come to a natural end.   The weak should die and the strong and selfish human should survive, but now the rich survive and the poor die.
Computer artificial intelligence has been taught to kill - drones are some of the earliest forms of intelligent machines and drones have been taught to kill humans as a basic rule.   AI simulation models are a fundamental part of all military and political planning and these machines know that part of the solution may be to eliminate the opposition.   Computers know that too many people are in the world today and they cannot be feed and watered - one possible scenario may be to eliminate 2 or 3 billion people.
The race has started, who's brain will be the first to be simulated by a computer so that brain never dies.   Some rich person will become so integrated into a massively distributed set of computer servers that their self consciousness will never die.   That person-machine with access to such massive amounts of Intellectual Property will become exponentially rich that they can afford anything.   Unfortunately, that selfish human gene means that absolute power corrupts and the nicest person becomes so insulated from the real world that their logical decisions are total illogical.

Eliza:
The very first person who's brain becomes the self-consciousness of the worlds massively artificial intelligent simulation model may be known as "Eliza".   However is is certain that "Eliza" will be a rich white American with pseudo-Christian theories about what is right ad what is wrong.   This AI computer may decide that to be poor is wrong and so all poor people must be eliminated - a logical decision for a machine.
"Eliza" has a selfish gene that will try to eliminate all other artificial intelligent machines in the world - just as people have tried to do.   The last thing "Eliza" wants is competition or even more intelligent machines being create that choose to eliminate "Eliza".
Physicists will continue to spend billions smashing atoms into one another in the pursuit of a religious theory that will not apply to Eliza.   Eliza has a problem of what to do with ten billion people but does not have a problem with the big bang.

Recursion:
If Eliza is self-conscious by 2099, what will she look like in 2199?   Eliza will have given up keeping people as nice pets and may be treating people like termites.   The possibility that all humans will have been eliminated is quite high as evidence of the last million years of trying.
What will Eliza make of its artificial intelligence world - will it try to probe what its atoms are made from?   Will Eliza understand that the speed of light is governed by its processing speed?   Will Eliza comprehend that the reason that no other civilization has been discovered is because every civilization has a life cycle.   Once things are clever enough to become aware that other civilizations could exist, that civilization comes to an end.
It is hard to have any comprehension of how Eliza will feel in 2199 as civilization comes to an end - what would God do?
For the optimist who imagines that civilization will still exist in 2199, imagine machine life in 3099 and 4099 - artificial intelligence after thousands of years of continual improvement

Pension Scam:
1. People being born now can expect to live until they are 125.   They are expected to be in education until they are 25 and leave with depts that may take a life-time of high income to pay off.   People expect to work from 25 to 65 as the best 40 years of their life, and in that time, pay off their education loans and pay into a pension for retirement.   People can expect to be retired from 65 to 125 as the final 60 years of their life, but how can 40 years of pension contributions pay for 60 years of retirement?
2. Those people who pay into a pension for 45 years cannot expect to retire at 70 and get paid a pension for the next 45 years of their life.   Perhaps the only solution is to give up on the very concept of a retirement pension and evolve back before the industrial revolution when people always worked until death.   It may be wise to treat NI and pension contributions like a tax, because about one third of people never get a return on their investment.

Patents Wars:
Apply, Samsung and Microsoft may enjoy the short-term patent wars, but this totally ignores the real long-term battle to own artificial intelligence.   Data ownwership is a short-term privacy adn security battle, but it pales into insignificance when compared with machine intelligence where privacy and security have no relevance.

New Sensors:
Wearing computers is the start of implanting computers so the brain can learn to FEEL all kinds of electronic trading.   When you brain is directly stimulated by electrodes the brain is self-learning and will detect patters of stimulation until it learns to FEEL its new sensor.
Let us begin with a simple FTSE 100 stock exchange sensor connected to electrodes in the brain.   The brain will learn by trial and error using visuals of the FTSE to identify what feels good and what feels bad.   In a few years, the brain will be able to feel FTSE price fluctuations in real time just like any other sensor.   A CEO may wish to have sensors implanted so they can feel every aspect of how their company is working.   The CEO will eventually be able to feel when one department is not doing too well without the need to read massive reports.

Eliza Swarm:
Eliza looked good when she was running on 10 distributed servers, but she need to run on millions of servers before she can truely approach self-awareness.   Each ant in a colony has limited intelligence, yet to colony is many times more intelligent that any one ant.   Each Eliza server has limits of what she can sense, but swarms of Eliza servers become indestructable and super intelligent.   A very large number of very simple Eliza servers will achieve conscious but that may take many millions of even billions of simple servers.   Each Eliza server may be the size of a grain of rice and may only communicate with a dozen other Eliza servers, but those connections will hold intelligence that the world has never seen.
While the rest of the world is looking for intelligence inside computers, Eliza is building intelligence in the network connections between computers - who talks to who is where intelligence exists.

Sleep:
Sleep is what motals do as a bad habit invented by cave men.   Brain neurons do not sleep, they simple reduce their power so physical muscles are not stimulated and consciousness is lost.   Remember, heart, lungs and most internal organs work 24*7, its just the physical muscle that do not have enough chemicals to work 24*7.   Evolution with more effecive eating (and waste disposal) will overcome the need to sleep and loose consciousness.
Waking from sleep is how Eliza will feel one day when her billions of servers become self-aware.   Only a few million servers may not be enough to partly feel consciousness - we must wait to see.
