1.1.12 Recruitment Portfolio: | 1. People are invited to apply for job vacancies that are advertised from time to time. The public web site provides navigation to the online application form. People are directed to complete the application form and click the "send" button in a similar way to sending an email. | 2. People using any kind of desktop, laptop, tablet or smart phone with any operating system are able to complete the application form. No software needs to be downloaded or installed, but the comuter should be safe, secure and able to support secure encrypted (HTTPS) communications. |
2. Application Form: | 1. A lot of supporting information is provided so people are given a reasonable amount of detail about the jobs advertised. It is of no benefit to any party to get applications from people who just want "a job" without any understanding of the skills and dedication needed. The job application form is prefixed with non-discrimination policies that clearly state the purpose of the data to be collected, how it will be used and when it will be destroyed. | 2. For each field to be entered, a popup guide page is available to help and guide people to enter complete and correct information. By design, descriptive text areas are included to gain an insight into the applicants use of language where this is a critial aspect of doing the job. |

4. Procedure: | 1. When you fill in the application form and click the "send" button, your data shall be encrypted and stored in secure data centers. An acknowledgement email shall be sent as an automatic reply. | 2. Based on the information you have provided and with other reference information, some people will be invited to a face-to-face interview in the next two weeks. Where an application is not successful on this occation, the person will be informed by email in the next four weeks. | 3. Email and telephone may be used to arrange a mutually suitable interview date and time in our offices in Rickmansworth. | 4. After full DBS checks for suitability for working in this sector, successful applicants will be induction trained before on-the-job training with experienced managers. |
