4.7.52. Solar System:
1. To help the environment, a renewable electric solar energy system has been installed in compliance with UK Govenment Feed-in-Tariff (FiT) requirements.
2. People who care for the environment and choose to generate renewable electricity to help the UK energy requirements are given a twenty year generation payment contract.
3. Electric 4 KW solar system has 16 panels, each generating up to 250 watts.
4. No annual maintenance charges. No moving parts. Inverter in the roof space does all the work automatically.
5. UK Government subsidy is administrated and paid by Scottish Power by quarterly bank transfer.

2. Key Factors:
1. Twenty year Feed-in-Tariff payment contract is guaranteed by the UK Government.
2. Feed-in-Tariff contract began in November 2013 and will continue until November 2032.
3. Feed-in-Tariff payments as index-linked to increase by inflation year-on-year.
4. Feed-in-Tariff payments as free of all taxes - no VAT and no income tax.
5. All solar electricity generated may be used free-of-charge.
6. Expect about 3800 KWH units to be generated each year.
7. Expect electric generation income to be about £700 per year.
8. Expect free electricity used to be worth about £500 per year.

3. Action:
1. Each quarter take a solar meter reading.
2. Send the meter reading to Scottish Power as an online Internet transaction (or by post).
3. Scottish Power will calculate the Feed-in-Tariff payment and make a bank transfer to the nominated bank account.
