Every operative will ensure their work area is free from any potential hazards that could cause harm to them or other working and walking around them. All the equipment and tools will be checked if they are safe to use i.e. there are no visual defects and safety guards are in place. Check there are no trailing leads to avoid slips and trips. Use dust extraction or water suppression when cutting and sawing. Obtain permit, if required, relevant to your task before starting work. Scaffold towers must be inspected by competent person and should display tag while using the tower. Equipment and extension leads must be checked for any damage before starting work. Do not put yourself or others in danger, if something does not seem safe please raise the concern with the Site Manager or Supervisor.

This Daily Activity Briefing (DAB) document is created each working day by the Site Manager or Supervisor in the project diary and shared with the Safety Officer, Client and all personnel working on-site in compliance with BS 1192 Building Information Model (BIM) Standard for a Common Data Environment (CDE).
