As a company providing Internal application services to users, the law imposes a raft of obligations and regulations on how those applications must look and behave. |
Disability |
Each Internet application must be designed with due consideration for it to be used by people with certain disabilities so the application does not discriminate against those disabilities. |
People have the right to change the colour scheme, contast, font size and resolution of the user interface to match their unique visual requirements. |
HTML facilities for a web page to be spoken by a narrator may be used by people who cannot see the screen image - colour and images must not be used with no other method of using the application. |
Offend |
People have the right not to be offended by inappropriate and/or discriminatory content no matter how that content was presented. |
This demands that all messages must be monitored and content changed to remove anything that is designed to offend and/or discriminate against others. |
People who are known to enter content that is offensive must be prevented from entering that offensive content into the application. |
